In pristine condition this stunning Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy would make an elegant accent to your table.. The adorable silver cherubs on each corner are one of the most popular motifs. The hallmarks date this tea caddy to Birmingham 1878 and the maker as SWS. It is completely original including the foil lining and key. This beautiful walnut writing slope is English and is dated Circa 1870. When opened it exposes a lovely writing surface, one ink bottle and space for stamps, etc. The writing surface also lifts to expose a bottom section where stationery items can be stored.
