These adorable cold painted dogs are attached to green onyx. The spaniel stands
approximately 5" tall while the terrier stands approximately 5 1/4" tall. They are circa 1880 and are in excellent condition. These unique bookends will surely make a wonderful addition to any collection. Cherubs are one of the most popular motifs. The cherubs on this bookslide are adorable and the medallions are in excellent condition. Very unusual colors are used on these medallions. The color pallet is grey and white. On the brass under the medallions is the makers name and patent number. The wood is coromandel which is also known as Kings Wood. Beautifully detailed, this English Postal Scale is in excellent condition. The brass is beautifully embossed and the weights are original to the piece. The measurements are approximately 8" across, 4 1/2" front to back and 5 1/2" to the top of the handle. It is circa 1880.
