This frame has the English hallmark of Birmingham 1897. As you can see from the photos the glass is bevelled and original. Mounted on black marble, this stunning pair of bronze bookends are quite heavy and measure 7" high and 5" front to back. This is the measurement of the marble. The horsehead itself measures 5 1/2" high by 5" from the back of the horse's neck to the tip of the nose. Dated to circa 1910 the bookends are in excellent condition.
