Burled walnut with an ebonized trim make this piece a lovely addition to any home. There are two crystal inkwells and a drawer
to store pens, pencils, etc. The drawer opens with a crystal knob. The piece was made around circa 1870 and is in excellent condition. It measures
13" across at the widest point and narrows down to 8 1/2" towards the back. It stands 6 1/2" high and there is a brass candlestick behind the inkwells. Shipping and Insurance will be $35.00 within the U.S. Outside of the U.S. shipping costs will be quoted at time of sale based on destination.

Circa 1870 this stunning group of cold painted birds in a tree would be a collector's delight. There are six birds and lots of branches, all in excellent condition. There are no breaks or missing birds. At the highest point the tree stands 5 1/2" high and is 4 1/2" across. In pristine condition, this mini tantalus has many modern day uses. Just picture this lovely set on a dining room table. Fill each bottle with oil, vinegar and wine and you will use this antique tantalus every day. By lowering the bar across the top you will have easy removal of the bottles. Circa 1900, it comes from the Victorian era right into modern times. It stands 8" to the top of the handle and 9 1/4" across.
