In pristine condition this stunning Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy would make an elegant accent to your table.. The adorable silver cherubs on each corner are one of the most popular motifs. The hallmarks date this tea caddy to Birmingham 1878 and the maker as SWS. It is completely original including the foil lining and key. Mounted on black marble, this stunning pair of bronze bookends are quite heavy and measure 7" high and 5" front to back. This is the measurement of the marble. The horsehead itself measures 5 1/2" high by 5" from the back of the horse's neck to the tip of the nose. Dated to circa 1910 the bookends are in excellent condition. On an oak base, this wonderful English scale is trimmed in brass along the bottom edge. All the mountings including the weights are also brass, giving the scale an elegant look. Circa 1890 it is in excellent condition. The oak base measures 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" and stands approximately
