Mounted on black marble, this stunning pair of bronze bookends are quite heavy and measure 7" high and 5" front to back. This is the measurement of the marble. The horsehead itself measures 5 1/2" high by 5" from the back of the horse's neck to the tip of the nose. Dated to circa 1910 the bookends are in excellent condition. This truly unusual frame is from the Victorian era and is made of copper. Flowers decorate the entire frame making it an elegant addition to any home.
